Marian Vance, LMFT
Psychotherapist
Marian is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She got her master’s in counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Her past experiences began in Human Resources. Though after getting her masters taking a clinical job at North Shore Counseling Center. In 2017 she finally opened her private practice which she truly enjoys running today.
Marian is an enthusiastic counselor who actively engages and listens to her clients attentively. She works to strengthen good patterned behaviors, while creating a safe and supportive environment.
Areas of Specialty: Depression, marriage + family, premarital, and trauma, grief, chronic illness and pain, domestic violence.

Stephen Pavlas
Stephen is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a proud Veteran who provides both short-term and long-term therapy to adults 18 years and older. He offers a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves while making positive changes in their lives.
Stephen’s style is strength-based, relational, collaborative, and supportive. He helps clients engage in healthy practices that support mind-body-spirit wholeness, while developing a deeper understanding of themselves on all levels. He strongly believes in the healing power of laughter and humor.
His models of practice include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Task-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Problem-Solving therapies. Stephen takes pleasure in helping individuals navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions—both anticipated and unexpected—such as marriage, divorce, career changes, job loss, and aging. His treatment modalities are tailored specifically for each individual. The initial intake focuses on building rapport, reviewing required documents, and gaining a holistic view of your life, including what’s working well and what’s not.
Outside of his professional life, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, hiking in nature, and exploring historical sites. These personal interests help him bring warmth, humor, and authenticity to his therapeutic work.
